Mia Muratori is a German-born artist interested in social and economic constructs. Her work is informed by her earlier work on Wall Street trading financial futures, an interest in neurological psychology and her daily observations.
She studied painting at the Art Students League in New York with Robert Beauchamps, ceramics at the Ceramics Institute in Faenza, Italy and received her MFA from the University of Delaware.
