Mia Muratori was born in Heidelberg, Germany. She studied painting at the Art Students League in New York with Robert Beauchamps, ceramics at the Ceramics Institute in Faenza, Italy and received her MFA from the University of Delaware. Muratori exhibits nationally and internationally. Her work reflects thoughts on the evolution of consciousness, the construction, destruction and reconstruction of popular myths and symbols and the promotion of universal themes.
